Parker Animal Hospital

Parker Animal Hospital began in a small office on Main Street in Downtown Parker in 1972. As the first veterinary hospital in Douglas County, Colorado, it began by treating every type of animal. Upon the move to its present location at 10225 S. Parker Road in 1978, Parker Animal Hospital was able to provide on-site medical and surgical services to both small and large animals.

While practicing on horses, cows, llamas, and the occasional ostrich was both fun and rewarding, gradually the practice shifted towards a complete focus on dogs and cats during the 1990’s.

As the Town of Parker grew rapidly and spread its borders, Parker Animal Hospital maintained its focus on quality care with a small-town feel.

The current ownership has been together for over 5 years now and continue to improve our practice. In 2020, we completed a major renovation on our property to present a far more comfortable and beautiful environment for clients and pets. Also, the lower floor of Parker Animal Hospital, formerly the Large Animal Clinic, is now a state-of-the-art Parker Bed and Bark Pet Resort that offers dog boarding, cat boarding and doggie day play for our families in Parker, CO and surrounding areas.
